Who We Are

reservationhatao-andolan.in is an independent informational website that documents and explains the Reservation Hatao Andolan — the viral, youth-led digital campaign around India's reservation system — from a neutral standpoint.

We are not affiliated with the movement, any of its social media pages, any political party, government body, or advocacy organization. We do not campaign for or against reservation policy. Our only goal is to give searchers accurate, sourced, balanced information about a topic that is often discussed in fragments and slogans.

Editorial Policy

Both sides, always. Every explainer presents the movement's stated goals and the strongest counter-arguments from critics and social justice advocates.
Verified vs. unverified. We clearly label claims that are not confirmed by credible sources — including founder identities and follower counts.
Primary sources first. Where possible we link to the Constitution of India, government bodies, court judgments, and established news organizations rather than social media claims.
No paid advocacy. We do not accept payment from any party to present a viewpoint.
Live links over stale claims. For fast-changing facts (news, follower counts) we link to live searches instead of quoting numbers that will go out of date.
